The residents of the Lathem household first believed that they were living in a safe domain, but once some paranormal activity occurred, things became eerie. The family reported several accounts of activity happening throughout the house; the most likely cause of the supernatural contact is a visiting spirit. Visiting spirits are apparitions with a connection to the haunted individuals according to local paranormal enthusiast (Brandon Aycock). In this case, the spirit is most likely visiting the family from the beyond to check on the household or the family as a whole. If this is indeed the case, the residents are in no apparent danger and are safe for paranormal contact.

Resident Deborah Lathem recorded several cases of activity throughout the household, the spirit seems innocent to her after the abundant amount of occurrences.

"The spirit at first was startling, but once I noticed it was harmless, I let it be" declared Lathem, "Most of the time it helps out around the house, picking up objects when I walk away."

This friendly spirit has left the Lathem household looking out for the easygoing contact around the house. The paranormal team has investigated the case on sight and has conclusively decided no demonic activity is taking place; the spirit is most likely a friendly child reaching out for contact or an older figure looking over the household.
